‘Sea the Coast, PEI’s Premiere Paddle Festival’ is an exciting paddle experience for kayakers, canoeists and stand up paddle boarders. Three fun-filled days of workshops, long and short coastal and river paddles, entertainment, PEI cuisine and music.

Join us after the free day time portion of the PEI Lobster Festival for our Lobster Reception and Supper with Chef Michael Smith as our event host. This is a paid event and for only $40, you get to enjoy an opening reception with oysters and lobster tacos from 5-6pm which includes local entertainers. At 6pm, our official PEI Lobster Supper begins with an opening lobster chowder followed with a traditional lobster dinner and locally made desserts. Wednesday July 4 – July 8th. 2018 – At the core of Points East Plein Air Festival features some of the most stunning scenery, charming villages and historic towns that Eastern PEI has to offer. Each day participants will visit a different venues setting up their easels, squeezing colors onto palettes in a celebration of the PEI landscape.
Participating artists will celebrate the landscape in paint and compete for cash awards, featuring Artists Choice, People Choice, and $1500 Grand Prize Award. Blank canvas and paper will be validated on each day’s paint-out and these paintings will be eligible for submission to the exhibition on the Montague waterfront, as well as any paintings made on any day or evening of the festival in Montague.
As well as attending the festival exhibition of completed paintings, non-participants are welcome to come along to see the artists at work at the different locations and appreciate the creative process at first hand.

DiverseCity Festival celebrates Canadian multiculturalism – it is PEI’s largest, family-friendly, free, outdoor street festival.
The 5th annual DiverseCity Montague will take place in conjunction with Montague Summer Days at the Waterfront Park on Sunday, July 15th bringing newcomers, islanders and visitors together next to the beautiful Montague River.
Prince Edward Island’s first Potato Blossom Festival was celebrated in 1968 and the Town of O’Leary has been honouring the Island’s most valued cash crop ever since! This year will be an exciting one as it is the 50th anniversary of the festival. Save the dates today because you won’t want to miss out on this fun-filled celebration!
The festival takes place each year in July to mark the time when the potato plants fill the fields in full blossom. The festival has many events each year, some the same, some new:
