Jay White is America’s Diamond
A musical tribute to the incomparable Neil Diamond
For over 25 years, Jay White has continued to stretch his singing and acting talents, while reflecting the stage persona of one of the world’s best loved musical icons. Validation came from Hollywood Director Ron Howard, who in 2008 cast Jay to play Neil Diamond in the Academy Award nominated film “Frost/Nixon”. In 2002, Jay began his 8 years as a Las Vegas showroom headliner at the Riviera, sparking national interest and recognition. Leeza Gibbons of “Entertainment Tonight” wrote: “He’s uncanny and truly amazing!” While Ron Howard said, “Your portrayal of Neil Diamond was excellent.”
In 1996 and again in 2002, White met Diamond before his Vegas MGM appearances, where Neil told Jay to “keep up the good work” and autographed a photo of the two signing, “Jay, keep singing, so I can stay home and relax, your friend in music.”
From passionate crowds rushing the stage at corporate events, to 1500 enthusiastic alumni at Princeton University, to the cheers of some 18,000 screaming fans in several Salt Lake City performances, White is grateful that his years of hard work and dedication are still so convincing and so appreciated.
This is a family friendly event, you can even bring along your favourite four legged friends! We will have some fun costume items and we encourage you to get a team together, plan a fun theme or team shirt (Don’t forget your blue for Alzheimers!) and show your support for Islanders going through this journey.
By participating in PEI’s Walk for Alzheimer’s, you are helping to ensure that families and caregivers receive education and support through our programs and services. All funds raised will stay on our Island!

To fans of the world’s longest-running television drama, William Roache MBE simply is Coronation Street.
Roache has played Ken Barlow for more than 57 years, ever since the first episode of Corrie premiered Dec. 9, 1960.
His portrayal of the often-conflicted patriarch of the troubled Barlow clan—a frustrated intellectual with a lifelong way with women—has earned accolades and numerous awards.
It’s made Roache one of Britain’s most-beloved actors, a TV titan whose popularity is impossible to overstate among the loyal followers of the kitchen-sink drama seen in dozens of countries and airing weeknights and Sunday mornings in Canada on CBC.
This intimate one-on-one onstage interview allows William Roache to give fans a rare glimpse into his personal life. Audiences will be enthralled as he shares stories about his experiences on the famous set, the plotlines and the actors he has worked with over five decades, many of whom are equally adored by loyal audiences.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an audience with true Coronation Street royalty and no fan will want to miss it.
