The Summerside Community Choir’s 40th Anniversary Event.
A Variety Show, featuring many well-known local artists, will be held on Sunday, June 3, at 7 p.m. at the Mont-Carmel Parish Hall located at 5786 Route 11.
“Our cooperative is pleased to organize another show to help the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Parish,” explained Edmond Gallant, president of the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel. “During the past few years, we always hold two shows, one in the spring and one in the fall, to raise money for our parish. Once more, we are hoping that many people will answer our call and attend this concert so that we can raise a good amount of money to help the parish pay its expenses.”
Following is a list of some of the artists who have indicated that they will be performing: Julien Robichaud. Mario (Fayot) LeBlanc, Jacinthe Laforest, stepdancers Alex Arsenault and Ashley Richard, Peter Arsenault and his musicians, Mona and Albert Arsenault as well as Louise Arsenault and the Joe Narcisse family.
« The Board of Directors of our co-operative sincerely thanks all the artists who have agreed to share their talents without pay for our parish, » adds the president.
