The North Atlantic Tionól is a weekend series of workshops and concerts presented by masters of the uilleann pipes, fiddle, guitar, set dancing, and bodhran from Canada, the U.S., Ireland, and the U.K.

The Queens County Relay for Life is a community of people fighting back against cancer. The festival-like fundraising event brings together teams of family, friends and colleagues to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those we’ve lost and commit to raising funds to fight all types of cancer. We’d love to see you out cheering on Relay participants and enjoying the evening’s activities.

June 12 -PEI Mutual Festival of Small Halls will be at the Milton Community Hall for a show “Folk Tracks” which begins at 7:30 p.m. and features – Rachel Beck, Natalie Williams Calhoun & Kinley Dowling, Adyn Townes & Evan McCosham, and, Ava & Lilly Rashed. Niki Jabbour, a well-known gardening author, will be speaking on how to extend the harvest into late fall and winter using season extenders like cold frames and mini hoop tunnels. She will also talk about the best crops to grow for the cold season. There will be a limited number of Niki’s book available for purchase for $25 (cash only). There will also be a book signing opportunity… purchase a book on site or bring one from home!
Join Ducks Unlimited Canada and many of our conservation partners for a FREE family fun day on June 23rd behind the Farm Centre in Charlottetown.
They will be hosting wetland activities for kids, fly-fishing demos, a free BBQ, face-painting, a wetland nature walk, retriever demonstrations and more. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Music Man (Michael Pendergast) and others.

Wednesday July 4 – July 8th. 2018 – At the core of Points East Plein Air Festival features some of the most stunning scenery, charming villages and historic towns that Eastern PEI has to offer. Each day participants will visit a different venues setting up their easels, squeezing colors onto palettes in a celebration of the PEI landscape.
Participating artists will celebrate the landscape in paint and compete for cash awards, featuring Artists Choice, People Choice, and $1500 Grand Prize Award. Blank canvas and paper will be validated on each day’s paint-out and these paintings will be eligible for submission to the exhibition on the Montague waterfront, as well as any paintings made on any day or evening of the festival in Montague.
As well as attending the festival exhibition of completed paintings, non-participants are welcome to come along to see the artists at work at the different locations and appreciate the creative process at first hand.
