French is the language of love and the Francophone community wants to invite everyone, including non-French speakers to enjoy an evening filled with music, great food, games and surprises. Maryse Guignard and Emily Williamson will be performing during the dinner, they will delight guests with a repertoire of romantic music played on the violin and accoustic guitar. The dinner will consist of beet carpaccio with Parmesan and balsamic vinaigrette, chicken picatta with fettuccine in a rosé sauce and asparagus. For dessert, chocolate fondant and a Valentine’s kiss with vanilla ice cream. A photographer will tour the room taking photos with a Polaroid camera – couples will recieve a photo as a souvenir. For extra fun, there will be an outdoor bonfire where Valentines can huddle around and roast marshmaellows to create S’mores. Along with other games and surprises, guests are encouraged to bring toonies for raffle tickets to win a basket of wine and chocolates.
Daycare will be available for the night, for a small fee of five dollars per child.
Dress up, dress festive or dress casual, whatever the heart desires. The Carrefour team is excited to welcome all.
