The main stage of Confederation Centre will come alive with a dazzling array of world class music, dance, incredible performance art and visual art from around the globe. Together with local household names, internationally recognized artists will perform in this new festival dedicated to human connections and cultural dialogue.
This event offers an opportunity of reflection about a world in constant change. In seeming contrasts, the ageless beauty of Prince Edward Island inspires its visitors with a sense of belonging and community. Island artists are extending a warm welcome to the cultural pilgrims and ambassadors from all around the globe and together they will share their art with us- the audience. By learning and appreciating different manifestations of human intellectual achievement we do realize we are more alike than we are different. This September, Prince Edward Island becomes a truly global village.
Cool Moon commences in mid-September with “Objects of the Mind” Chinese brush and ink paintings by Dianyu Zhao, a highly regarded artist at the Chinese national level who specializes in painting nature, particularly flowers and birds.
