Lennox Island First Nation

Lennox Island is a proud Mi’kmaq Nation located on the northwest coast of Prince Edward Island. Over 400 community members call this home, while thousands trace their history and culture to Lennox Island.

We are a warm and welcoming community surrounded by natural beauty and pristine vistas. Our hospitality is as wide and open as the natural rugged landscape that shapes the community. When you visit Lennox Island, you will have the opportunity to witness our culture and history first-hand.

There is much to see and do on Lennox Island, surrounded by the tranquil waters of the world famous Malpeque Bay. We offer guided tours, nature trails, and story telling. Delight in the sights and sounds of our traditional Pow Wow, or join in the excitement of our annual St. Anne’s Sunday Celebration. Step back in history as you enter the cultural centre and visit with some of our gifted artisans who will amaze you with their original woodworks, paintings, jewellery, basket weaving, and more.
